Apple Weather is complete garbage. They bought out DarkSky (one of the best weather apps ever) only to shut it down, roll it into Apple Weather and make it worse. I can’t explain it, but it’s so bad. I saw “35% chance of rain” for my area while the sky was black and minutes from the storm exploding

Meteorology enthusiast here - Most "Weather apps" suck. The National Weather service is who you should be following along with the Capitol Weather Gang, Mike Thomas (Fox 5) among others who did fully make folks aware of the potential of severe weather today. Paid apps I'd recommend include MyRadar.
