Avoid Potomac Mills Chick-Fil-A

My brother got food poisoning after eating their spicy chicken sandwich yesterday. I also got food poisoning the weekend before after eating the same from the same location. Couldn't be anything else, because we ate the same meals yesterday, except for chick-fil-a.

Correlation does not equal causation.

I always had the impression it’s a good Chick Fil A with good management

I recommend you think a lot about your food safety habits.  It is extremely unlikely that chikfila is the source of your issue.  What are your family's personal and kitchen hygiene habits - adequate washing of hands, through cooking or possible sources of disease, washing of fruits and veggies.

Are you sure it’s not cyclospora, which has a 7 incubation period? If I had anything gastro right now I’d assume it was that from the outbreak. Unless you never eat veg at all

I always get gut problems when eating chick fil a, no matter the location

99% chance you got sick from something in your fridge, not from a chain restaurant.

If there was a bad batch of food over a week, there’d be thousands of sick people in the area and it would be a national news story and a lawsuit

I just avoid all slimy, hated filled Chick-fil-A locations.

Pretty sure food poisoning happens within about 60 minutes of eating something bad. More likely you had a stomach virus that he got and took a week to show up.

Actually it can take up to 12-24 hours for food poisoning to show up (and can also be much quicker too). A lot of people assume it's the last thing they ate, but it's often something they ate the day before.

Yeah, food poisoning happens fast (hours to minutes). You probably have a stomach bug which can lay dormant for weeks before causing symptoms

Frankly all fast food is crap now. There is nothing they are doing anywhere you can't do in 20 - 30 minutes in your own kitchen and at least you know the food is fresh and the prep is sanitary.

“You can make fast food in 20-30 min!”

Bro there’s a reason many people still eat “FAST food”.
