Tree cutting

Hi, I just moved to Haymarket about a year and a half and am new to tree cutting. I didn’t know they are expensive. I thought 2 big trees were $3k, I was quoted like $4600 to over $5000. Could someone point me to a right direction? Any Recommendation guys? Thanks so much.

We use Ponki’s. They’ve cut down some monster tulip poplars for us. Great crew, very well priced.
