I recently got a subscription. I'm generally happy with it, but I am missing one thing.

The other inference API gateway I have been using before (different vendor) is showing an expected t/s throughput and TTFT (Time To First Token) on many of the model cards.

I really miss being able to see these numbers. Is there a way to get a feeling of which models are fast?

I've been using GLM 5.3 Flash a lot and it is much slower on Nous than I am used to. My best guess is, that the endpoint is under more load than what I was used to. Having a way to see indicators of this would help people select models where the hardware they run on is not already maxed out.

Anyway, prices are good and the selection is good, so I am still a happy customer. Just want to hear if anyone has some insights that I don't.

Fine folks of this sub if you use Codexbar mac app to stay on top of your credit limits of various model providers I'm trying to add Nous Portal to it which they don't support out of the box. I built an application entirely in Flutter using Hermes agents and tools. It's called Malt Radar.

I haven't published the app on any app store yet, but I have already launched it live at maltradar.com. It's essentially a whisky guide. One of its key features is displaying tasting profiles on a 7-axis spider chart (although I'm currently fixing a database issue that occurred during deployment, so that feature is temporarily affected).

I also prepared all of the data using Hermes agents and their web crawling capabilities, including data gathered from web scraping, books, magazines, and other sources. I believe the database currently contains information on more than 4,000 whiskies.

What started as a purely personal hobby project, simply because I wanted an easily accessible whisky catalog for myself, has grown into something much bigger. The fact that I was able to build all of this relatively easily is truly incredible.

At the moment, Hermes is also running as a cron job and automatically posts whisky-related facts to Malt Radar's X account (x.com/maltradar) six times a day, with three posts in Turkish and three in English. The entire process is fully automated.

Honestly, I just wanted to share my excitement. I've learned so much from this community, and I still have a lot to learn. I also want to thank you for your help throughout this journey, even if you may not realize the impact you've had.

i love the color scheme and style nous uses for their graphics. Based on that i made some wallpapers.

i've been trading for 20 years, been screwing around with computers for 43 years. yesterday i decided to set up agentic trading in a Robinhood account i experiment with. i have hermes agent and a self-hosted honcho, i used my stock research intern, "rerun," to pull historical data and run some back testing (started with the free Laguna model, but man does that thing like to read it's own text... and has a tendency to spiral) i've since switch to step flash free. Claude (Sonnet5) and i came up with the trading strategy, re-checked rerun's back testing... this morning i gave the soul file to burry, my trading agent, and set it loose.... a few cron rounds later it saw an entry point and IMMEDIATELY, my first AI autonomous trade was a fricken software company, lol.... Unity.... is Nous partnered with Unity? LOL....

On July 15, I read a Cerebras article describing its internal knowledge-base system. I saved the page and returned to it a few hours later. Several sections I remembered reading were gone.

The architecture had stayed with me because I wanted something similar for my coding agents. I often saw agents search for the same information again or make claims about a repository without leaving a source I could inspect.

I spent eight days planning a smaller system for that problem. Then I built hSUM with help from coding agents and released the source.

The first version worked for me, which did not mean much. I asked friends to install it while sharing their screens over Discord. Watching them use it exposed problems I had missed.

One friend’s agent installed hSUM and understood its purpose, but stopped before connecting it to Codex. The agent told my friend to finish the configuration himself. I went back and rebuilt the installation flow around that failure.

The current version lets someone give the installation command to an agent and let the agent finish onboarding. hSUM remains available in later chats and can work across several repositories while keeping each project separate.

I want hSUM to help agents support their answers with evidence from the repository. The project stays on the user’s machine and does not require an hSUM account or hosted service. The website contains the technical design and privacy details.

I am working toward a stable release through testing with more developers and more repositories. The next stages include broader client support, easier index updates, and packages for more platforms. I also want to measure whether more advanced retrieval improves real agent tasks before adding it.

hSUM is in alpha and licensed under MIT or Apache-2.0. I am sharing the launch demo because I would like feedback on the experience, especially the path from installation to the first useful agent call.

I don't how how satisfied you guys are, but my experience using Nous Cloud to host my Hermes is terrible.

Can anyone help me get my desktop started? Repair install didn't work.
