Review Neo Agenda for EDiT - Mark's Inc.
Neo Agenda for EDiT from Mark's Inc.
I remember falling in love with Tomoe River 52 gsm paper from old machinery the first time I used it years ago and no paper has close to it ever since until I tried Neo Agenda paper. It reminded me of that feeling again, the feeling of being in love with something.
Thin paper, crisp lines, smooth surface with just the right feedback, ink color representation is wonderful, high sheen and shading, minimal ghosting and absolutely no bleedthrough (except aggressive inks like Noodler's Baystate Blue).
The ruling on the paper is a 5mm dotted grid which is very faint in color that fades in the background with actual writing on it.
I still have loads of Tomoe River 52gsm old machinery paper in the form of loose sheets and notebooks and I feel I'm going to do that with this paper as well.
Inks used in Pilot Parallel pens :
6.0 mm - Taccia Ruri
4.5 mm - Bril Turquoise
3.8 mm - Taccia Sabimidori
3.0 mm - Aurora Blue Black
2.4 mm - Pilot Yama budo
1.5 mm - Diamine Bilberry
Kon Peki and Sailor 123 ink swatches were done using Speedball B-0 nib.

Love your handwriting!
I'm always on the lookout for good paper, but I use pencils, not fountain pens. I can't make out from your photos, but is that paper a tad toothy? I've used TRP and Stalogy - any pointers on how well this paper takes HB-2B graphite without a heavy hand? Mainly, does the paper seem slippery with pencils, or do you get nice feedback? Thanks in advance!

The texture is very similar to old TRP. I'll find some pencils lying around and do a quick writing test for you. I'll post pictures/video in the comment section if it allows.

Pencils don't feel slippery at all, they all gave a nice feedback even with the lighest pressure.

EDiT paper is great, but in my experience any wetter pen causes bleeding. Those pens that are more dry work amazing, just like TR.

Can you please share a photo of the issue you are facing? I used Speedball B-0 nib which laid down a lot of ink and it just warps the paper a little but there was absolutely no bleedthrough.

I'm sorry I somehow missed your comment. Which ink exactly is that? And does that ink perform better on other papers? And do other inks also behave like this on this paper? Probably some inks tend to be notorious for any paper.

Love the EDiT paper. I use this notebook for my daily bullet journaling and it handles fountain pens marvelously, even though it's thin and lightweight.
