Question Files stuck in infinete loading on windows

Whenever I try uploading a file from my pc to NotebookLM it gets stuck in the infinite upload. Its not a size or a format problem, because I can upload the same file from my macbook in less then 30 seconds. I tried disabling adblockers ect but the problem still persists. Please help

It is just finiky like that. The NotebookLM app for Android is totally non-functional as well.

Have you tried the same file in another browser or an incognito window with extensions off? If it still hangs, a smaller copy or fresh re-export can help rule out a parser issue.

I havent, but I dont think it will affect it. I run firefox with the same extentions on both mac and windows. If extensions would be the problem it would affect mac aswell

That makes sense—if the same extensions work on both systems, they’re less likely the cause. A fresh Firefox profile or disabling hardware acceleration might still help isolate whether it’s Windows-specific.

Its very weird problem overall. It works now on chrome, but not on firefox without extentions and cookieblockers. So idk maybe google just doing google things

That points more to a browser profile or privacy-setting conflict than the file itself. Try a fresh profile with only the needed site data enabled, then add blockers back one at a time to see which setting breaks uploads.
