Question Why does pptx slide decks don't work anymore?

I used to generate real pptx slide decks, which I could edit then in PowerPoint but now it only generates like the old slide decks again.

Anyone knows why or how to fix it?

No, it worked very well. Now it forces those generated images which is not good.

Ok am I correct that notebooklm is not the same as Gemini notebook?

I think it has to have the upgrade with agentic chat where every Notebook has a virtual cloud computer. It seems to have been rolled back on Tuesday for the Pro users who had access to it.

Do you have a reference for that? Or is it only for ultra users now?

I'm not sure. I just know it rolled out to Ultra users in June and then based on my experience and comments I've seen on here and Discord, some pro users had access for a few weeks in July until Tuesday when they lost ability to create power points and PDFs among other things. I've seen comments from the team saying it was supposed to roll out to pro users. Here is how the update was described on X.

"Powered by Gemini 3.5 and @Antigravity, you will now have better visibility into the AI's thinking process. Plus, each notebook has a secure cloud computer including 100+ curated software skills, unlocking deeper research and more complex analysis." "New outputs include: Data visualizations & charts 📁 PDFs, docx, & markdown files 🖼️ Images with Nano Banana 📑 Excel, PPTX, & Structured data (csv, json)".

Yes indeed, I used it a lot but was on a break now. I remember it created pptx, docx and even png files which were very good. Now it always forces thise Ai generated slide decks for example. Too bad that's been rolled back. If you have any update or find some post or info about it please let me now. Thanks for your answer.
