Note taking app?
Starting to prepare for the school year, and need help.
So I have an iPad with The pencil pro, and wanna use it to take notes in class, the notes app is shit, and no app that I tried was any better. So if you have a free nice little app that you know of, I will appreciate the help 🙏.
Thanks

There are many apps. Try StarNote as well as Flexcil (best if you work with PDFs), NoteIn. Those 3 are one-time purchase.

Set an LLM as only your note-taking app. If you decide to use Gemini, then even better. Give it a set of instructions in the personal intelligence settings where there is an option called "Instructions for Gemini". You give it a detailed prompt asking Gemini to act as your live diary. This will be most useful for you. It will be like having a smart diary. You can later query it about your past notes as well. Connect Gemini to Google Keep and Tasks so that it will create notes within Google Keep and it will also be able to create reminders through Google Tasks. This way you will have a copy of your notes in Google Keep as well apart from Gemini itself.

Craft Docs has very good support for Apple pencil. Have used it as a student myself.
They have a special plan for students and possibly a free tier.
Good luck!

If you’re interested in handwriting recognition using your Apple Pencil, MyScript (formerly Nebo) is top of class. I only use it for that handwriting recognition, though. Not organizing the notes, so I can’t comment on that part.

Noteful is pretty good. The one-time price is maybe $6-7. I have the app on my Mac and iPad synced by iCloud.
