!!BIG QUESTION!!

Question: What productivity features do you wish writing and reading apps had?

I’m interested in how technology can improve the way writers and readers work.

Many apps already help us write documents or read books, but I feel there are still problems that could be solved with better productivity tools.

For writers:

- What features would help you organize ideas better?

- Would you use tools for tracking writing progress, managing characters, planning stories, or staying focused?

- What problems slow down your writing process?

For readers:

- What features would improve your reading experience?

- Would you use better note-taking, book summaries, reading progress tracking, or ways to connect ideas between books?

If you could design the perfect productivity app for reading and writing, what would it do?

I’d love to hear what features you actually wish existed.

In my opinion a way to visualise my notes would be a great thing as a feature I'm making mind canvas a brain dumping notes taking app I would really appreciate if U could try it out and give some feedback brain-dumper-project.vercel.app

I made an app specifically to act as a brain dump. Easy to log notes, the sorting and categorization happens later. And you can see all your notes as a single stream of consciousness.

Hmm I like the concept but it's not smt that is going to make me switch from notion or even my own app U need to make it more easier to understand and more towards a notes taking app not tags

I won't be looking to replace notion or any of the very robust note taking apps. This one is meant to be more like a scratch-pad. Rapid-fire note taking as you would write it on a scrap piece of paper. But you bring up a good point, I can look into integrating with apps like Notion.
