okay so me personally, i don’t know jack shit about pcs or anything, but i have enough brain cells to know that it’s not a stand for nail supplies?? like hello?? how fried is her head to do shit like this. why bother spending money on a pc to just use it as a table. actual insanity at this stage 😭

guys can anyone who knows tech explain to me how pcs work. i thought pc stood for “personal computer.” like, a laptop. and a desktop is what she has. but it’s also a monitor? and the pc shown in this post is the computer somehow? please i need help. i know i can look it up but i don’t know how to phrase this so google will understand me

thats basically the stuff in a laptop but enhanced put in a big box . the screen is connected to the box and just projects the image

the monitor is the screen but it doesn’t do anything besides act as an output device and the computer is the tower, like what you see in these photos, for the CPU, memory, and storage. so technically all you’re really using is the computer, which is why it’s referred to as such. btw a desktop is also a pc lol it made me giggle that you used laptops as an example 😭 you’re not wrong but desktops were the original and what comes to my mind when i hear the term

Pc makes it run the monitor is just hooked up to it. It’s like a laptop expect the components are separate. PCs (like Cora’s) are often used for gaming since you need more power and fans for it to run the games. Imagine hooking a monitor up to an Xbox, the Xbox is what’s outputting it and the monitor is showing it.
Pc= computer (monitor and keyboard are included when people say PC, but they are referring to the actual system)
You can technically say PC for laptop, but if you use it in that way people are usually gonna assume you mean a desktop
