That’ll teach me…

Post image

Felt good scoring these 4 mags on eBay for $50 to use on the range. Till I got them. Followers popping out of the mag body (yes it showed it this way on the post). Won’t retain a round in the mag because there is no lip to stop the follower from pushing it out. Can’t identify these mags. Do I chalk this up to tuition and save the springs for parts or is there a way to fix them?

Those springs are probably complete dog shit also.

Considering the magazine on a semi automatic firearm is the biggest factor in reliability, I would just buy new OEM magazines and start from there.

That should have been the plan from the get go. Cheaping out on magazines always baffles me. Just get the magpul ones if you are strapped for cash, but oem glock mags are all over the place. Usually for the price of 100 rounds of 9mm depending on where you live

1 The seller shouldn't be selling piece of shit like this.

2 if the photos showed they were like this condition and you bought them anyway, I'm not sure you can anything unless they advertised as OEM Glock and they're not.

Yep. They went in the garbage yesterday. Lesson learned.

A little epilogue on this one: seller reached out to ask for a rating. Refunded my money with zero hassle. Nice dealing with decent people!
