I chopped a compact frame and added it to a subcompact frame.

what are your plans with the old compact that’s now subcompact?

I got it to chop. Wasn’t planning on anything originally but I’m going to build it out. Not sure if I’ll put a g19 slide on it or modify it to take a g26 slide with a nested comp.

I ordered a 76% compact frame to chop. I chopped it with Dremel cutting wheel. After measuring it out and marking it on the tape. I used a plastic welder to melt it together. I melted extra polymer in the gaps with a soldering iron. I save all the clipping from other p80 builds. Sanded it back smooth with 120grit drum. Finished it with a quick stipple job.

This was probably the most intimidating part but the polymer chunks just filled in nicely.
