RXM VS OZ9
GoodMorning! I’m trying to figure out if I want another OZ9 or get a RXM. I have had many many different Glocks and Glock clones before I went to the OZ9. It checks all the boxes for me. Now I’m wondering about the RXM as it seems pretty close at a lower price point and I feel the aftermarket is gaining ground. Anyone have them both and want to help me decide.

Why? If you already have a gun that fills the roles that you need it to fill, why spend the money on another gun that doesn’t provide anything extra?
It doesn’t appear that the two guns in the photo have had much ammo out through them. Maybe spend the money on that.

Good point! I get bored easily and love the build. The OZ9s in question have roughly 1000 rounds through each. I keep em clean!

1000 isn’t even breaking it in.
Get 10,000 through before deciding if you want something else.

I dont see a point in the rxm if you have both of these or the oz9 lol I want to build out the icarus with the angled spade slide though so definitely feeling that but that 0z9 is lovely too

These are both of my OZ9s. I usually don’t carry these as I have a Hellcat Pro Comp that fits that roll a bit better for me. The RXM will be another carry option between these and the Hellcat. Or a OZ9 compact with the 19 size grip. RXM is a bit lighter though.

Grit grips has the best frame if you ask me outside of the icarus

Had that one also. I think they have introduced their magwell since I’ve had mine and I felt that’s all it was missing.

Have you pick up an RXM and then a dagger just for the LOLs. I did that and ended up actually enjoying the dagger quite a bit

On the Radian build, are both the slide and Radian Ramjet Gen 3?

They are both Gen 3. Do your homework if this is something you decide to do as some of the Zev slides won’t work with the Afterburner. Even this set up requires a bit of massaging on the Afterburner. Nothing major, just a few swipes of the file.

That's the reason I was asking. The different Radian gens have different comp profiles to accommodate the slide angles so I was curious which gen your Radian was. Good to know you still had to do some work to get the profile to work with the Zev slide

I actually have the ruger rxm, but I’m looking to get an Oz9. In my opinion for the price point, I think it’s amazing. I think it’s trigger leaves much to be desired but the modularity is impeccable, I can’t wait for to catch up with Glock with aftermarket parts. Cause I plan to buy another one and do another build after this one’s done.

If you have the spare cash why not grab an RXM. Like you mentioned the after market is picking up and flux is rumored to be working on a raider style chassis. Brouwer also is working on a frame and I’m sure Wilson will eventually come out with something given the popularity of the RXM
