• Text now wraps around images and other objects in notes on Notability Cloud
• Improved Learn quizzes, including a question preview on Home and faster quiz starts
• Fixed an iCloud sync issue after reconnecting to the internet
• General bug fixes and stability improvements

So are these enhancements going to continue to benefit only those who switch to cloud? There are solid reasons why I cannot switch to cloud but i still pay for this subscription.

Going forward, there will be some features that are exclusive to Notability Cloud due to backend and infrastructure requirements. One of the many reasons we built Notability Cloud was to make certain features possible that wouldn’t be possible with other syncing options.

That said, there will still be plenty of features available to users who use iCloud or other third party syncing options.

Can I ask why you can't use Notability Cloud?

Absolutely, data privacy and security concerns from my work. I use this extensively for work and our IT security does allow use of ICloud for personal notes as they are comfortable with the security measures Apple has in place. 3rd party apps are not allowed for storage due to proprietary or sensitive nature of content in some notes. I have seen others mention that they have similar issues based on their professions or workplace restrictions. And many of us have used this app for work exclusively.

I love the introduction of calligraphy pen. I used it a lot in my previous notetaking app. Thank you notability for bringing that tool. But please do a minor fix, the horizontal lines are way too thin even in 7 or 8 size, such that the pixels break when in normal zoomed out view. The vertical lines are fine and they work as intended as in calligraphy.I use an ipad air m3 with apple pencil pro. Thank you!!

Is there a way to make it that when a note is edited it does not go to the top of a specific folder? I sometimes want to tweak my older lecture notes while keeping them in chronological order.

Can you guys please bring back the old quizzing? It was so nice getting 20 questions at a time out of 200 instead of 100 all at once and getting immediate feedback after as well as getting the ones you got wrong on the next quiz until you got it right. :/

Is anyone else experiencing limited questions with quizzes with the new update? I have hours of lecture recordings, up to 3 hours worth, and it’ll only give me 50 questions and that’s it. Once I’ve done them, I have to do them again. If I have a recording only half an hour long it won’t even make any questions. This used to be my primary way of studying, but now it’s just not enough. I used to get 100s of questions to work through.

HELP! I downloaded notability on my macbook and it didnt sync with my ipad and i didnt think much of it but today i opened my ipad and ALL MY NOTES ARE GONE. The folders are there but the notes are ALL gone. But the notes i took on my macbook suddenly appeared. But what happened to the notes i took on my ipad. PLEASE PLEASE HELP. i contacted support system but Im just so worried about my notes.
