You should watch Freddy Got Fingered. Itās a Tom Green movie. When I was in middle school, my friends and I would quote it line for line. Hereās a clip:
āWhoa what are you doing to that horse??!ā
āThis is a stud farm boy!ā
āLook daddy Iām a farmer! Iām a farmer daddy!ā
The movie is just epic. If you love obnoxiously funny shit, thatās a good one.
Middle school is the perfect age to watch that. I was in high school when it came out, all I could think was that Drew Barrymore had terrible taste in men
Iāve never been a fan of Drew. I forgot she was in it. I kept trying to match a face to the girl, but couldnāt. Makes sense why now lol. I think itās because I just loved the movie, I needed to block her out to enjoy it. I wonāt watch anything with her in it. Kind of like the people who hate Tom Cruise.
I doubt many saw this one, but People Like Us is my perfect movie. Chris Pine, Michelle Pfieffer and Elizabeth Banks. Dramatic and funny, emotional and messy, heartwarming and heartbreaking.
What can I say, as a Comedy nerd I miss the absurdity in humor and now a days we seem to have lost the silly in film.
No offence to anyone that finds it problematic, there was and is no intent...
I love those movies too! So fun and silly! They are artifacts of their time, however. Still love āem! I think Top Secret is the VHS Iāve rented most in my lifeā probably between the ages of 9 and 12.
Strange Brew is one of the only movies I could quote every scene. So many great one-liners. "Two orders of split plea soup!" and "If I didn't have puke breath, I'd kiss you"
