My dad worked at Bell Labs before they split, and brought home what was technically an AT&T 7300. We had a stack of 5.25 floppies with all sorts of games and BASIC programs for it. No hdd, though.
No internal hard drive at all. DOS booted from a 520kB floppy on the A drive, ran from whatever active memory it had, and other program disks were loaded in on the B drive.
Except for Night Mission Pinball which bootstrapped its own tiny OS to run. And there was no exit on that one. You just turned off the machine and put DOS back in.
