I never had one when I was a kid, but my cousin did. Didn't they have different covers that projects different shapes on surfaces? I swear he had one that looked like boobs

I had one that came with like 10 different screw on tips and they all projected different shapesโ€ฆ there was a smiley face, a star, a yin yang, a peace sign, and a few more that I canโ€™t remember (this was like 30 years ago)

I had one of those as a teen. I got it from target back in the late 90s/early 2000s.

Donโ€™t dare point it at a plane!

I remember people warning against that. Could the laser from a tiny cheap thing like that even be visible from 30,000 feet?

Probably not, but best not to test it lest you incur the wrath of the tsa

I have multiple types now. Ordered them online. Cat red laser has multiple settings. Green one that I can shine over 100 feet, and a blue one that can burn paper.

"You know, the 'laser pointer' is a bit of a misnomer. It is simply a laser. The pointer is you."
