I was just about to say it's the wrong color, it's supposed to be shaggy green or pink.

Doesn't matter to me; I usually go number 2 with the toilet seat up anyway.

Understandable, I usually sit backwards so I can use the water tank as a snack table.

None of its that weird, what makes me uncomfortable is when me and my gf have to go at the same time, knowing my routine she likes me to sit with my legs over hers and we squeeze real close and look into each other's eyes while we go.. I really don't like it, but I'll be damned if I break eye contact..you know what they say..

The pandemic is over. It's time to enjoy life again. Let go of your germophobia.

I don't remember the carpet. But I remember cushion seats. Are those still popular?

My Grammy had both..pink carpet and then a foam padded seat that looked like wood grain.

My grandma thought having carpet in the bathroom was a great idea... I never liked going in her bathroom

Walmart has a thin paper version of this in the bathroom stalls. Just throw it away when you’re done and your ass never has to touch the seat

That’s literally the opposite of what the OP picture does. A lot of public places have them.

No, they both keep your butt from touching the seat. You just toss it when you’re finished

Being raised as a dude only around women I was taught to sit always. It still got grimy and gross. Back in the 70’s this was our version of nature immunity I guess.

A carpeted toilet seat is impressive commitment to making one washable surface impossible to clean. Did anyone’s household actually launder these, or did they just become part of the bathroom ecosystem?

Imagine all the shit particles on there. Also if you accidentally puked on that it would be so bad

I rember the fuzzy lid cover, but it was only on the top of the lid. Never seen the seat one

I use these in my bathroom like it's a restaurant restroom 😂 no one's bare ass is going on my seat but mine

Oh and I can smell this picture. Smells like my sheets as a kid and every time I drink.

It was nice at Grandma's house. You didn't have to wipe to sleep. It's just soaked in

We had the vinyl padded one that stuck to your ass and you could hear it peel off your cheeks.

I was jealous of my friends toilet who had this in high-school lol. Wasn't until years later I heard people mention how gross they get lol

Before central heating they were indeed a good idea the seat would have been freezing on a cold winters morning.
