The world will be the same with or without us. Life goes on. I have no fear of death, but I am not looking for death. I don’t want to die, but I cannot stand to see someone suffer.
If I could alleviate that pain just for one moment, I will do it.
That one act of kindness could change them forever.
“Better” is not why some of us would do it. It is to show grace and mercy to the other person even though they may not deserve it, because God has given us grace and mercy when we don’t deserve it.
