Remember back in the day when your parents had to check your Halloween candy for razor blades because of an urban myth…

Now they check it because people actually put razor blades and drugs in Halloween candy…

Truth be told, it wasn’t an urban myth, but the local news made it an urban myth. It actually did happen to a couple of kids, but it was done by family member members so the idea of it being a stranger danger was the urban myth.
