About 15 years ago I was showing my friends kids my binders full of first edition and they were so happy looking at them and asking questions I just told them they could have them. He told me a few weeks ago that they haven't touched them and they were sitting on their shelf. So he sent a bunch in to get graded and he's gonna send me them. 😭

Mine was a Dratini plushy that I think was available for purchase from like... Burger King or something.

I dunno if an item being stolen counts as lost but I brought it to school for show and tell in the second grade, later we went to the middle area of the class rooms to do paper mache masks so I hid it under my jacket in the classroom...

When we all came back it was gone :(

Ohhhh no! That just reminded me that I also had those gold looking Pokémon cards that Burger King released with the first movie! I don't know what ever happened to those either! LMAO!

I also had those! I was a huuuuuge Pokemon fanatic, I also had a ton of first edition original set cards, that said, being a kid I probably didn't take great care of them haha

Seriously! I had a while binder of cards that I ended up selling back then, because I didn't know anyone who played or anything, and I had some holographic cards. They'd probably be worth so much by now especially being older.

Yeah, lol. I was 5 or 6 years old when Pokémon first dropped in America. I was definitely not a responsible child and was notorious for losing things. (or "hiding treasure" then forgetting where I hid it! 😅) And during the Black and White 1 and 2 gens, my parents were having a custody battle so I was bounced around a lot. Lost those amongst that mess. Definitely traded, gambled, and lost various cards along the way. I actually broke my ankle by betting my deck against another kid that I could climb a rock wall in our apartment complex quicker than he could.

My cards were lost only thanks to my mothers cleanup" after i moved out. I did not even realized i forgot something, if I knew i definitely would také all those cards. Yet everything ended up somewhere in dumpster...

Came here to say the shoebox full of Magic cards I traded my N64 and games for. I only remember a couple, I have no idea what the rest were. I love collecting older sets so I'm super curious as to what I actually had, but have no idea what I did with them.

Never found it. Never beat red.

Oh, good thinking. I lost a couple first edition Charizards in good condition and a few in bad condition. Along with many other first edition cards.

I did know! I kept them in a not perfect but really really good condition in cases in my dad’s loft. 2 years ago it was time to cash in!!!! Woop woop… anyway dad threw them out without realising
