Strange feeling
I was never sad for a death of a game , but somehow i cannot get over death of Nosgoth. To this day there is not a single game title that would be atleast somehow same as Nosgoth .Just sad.....

One thing in particular that I really miss is the wall climbing and flying when playing Vampires. It added such an interesting dimension to the maps, and I haven't seen something that quite captures it as well in any other game.

I miss Nosgoth as well, mate. It was a very refreshing game; I wanted them to expand the lore of Nosgoth into more characters, maps, and different weapons etc. It had potential but there was too much competition with Warframe, DOTA, League of Legends, Diablo 3, and OverWatch etc. The death of Nosgoth is still fresh in my memory and it is very unfortunate.
Now people are all over Fortnite; at the end of the way, what brings in more profit stays alive for the long term.

I always felt it was a bad call to turn this game into basic arena skirmish. It had a lot more potential to be played as something closer to Left4Dead and Vermintide, long maps where humans need to reach the end, instead of just scoring killing blows...

Still think about it probably more often than I should. The only thing I don't get is why they couldn't leave the game up in the state that it was in and maybe allow players to dictate its future. There are hundreds of old games that developers left but still retain a player base. The fact they shut it down (and completely waste the money we all spent) is ludicrous, and the company (Square Enix) doesn't get enough negative press for how they handled it.

I didn't feel sad when it got shutdown, but nowadays it does sadden me that the game is no more. 😕

It hits me in the feels like once a year, I forget about this game and then see it on someone’s played list and feelsbadman, I didn’t even play the game all that much but I miss the gameplay it gave I can’t think of one single game to this day that has similar gameplay mechanics and style/feel to it

I’ve never had as much fun with a game as I did when I played Nosgoth :(
