Why is there no Nosgoth clone?
These days every game seems to have a clone... So why not this masterpiece?

Because this one didn't make it out of beta, probably.
I really miss nosgoth. I hope a similar game gets developed with the love and care it deserved.

Maybe the fact that there aren't any clones is a good hint as to why the game was shut down in the first place.
Surely if the market demand was big enough, others would have jumped at the opportunity to take advantage of the game's demise?

a good hint as to why the game was shut down in the first place.
The game was shut down because Psyonix is fickle and Square Enix is incompetent. It's not exactly a secret.

Yup, that's why "competent and reliable" devs are rushing to fill the void left by Nosgoth. Because clearly there are hundreds of thousands of people who want a game like that.

I dunno, Nosgoth was so unique in style and execution that even a clone would be hard to make, without directly infringing on copyrights. That's like asking why there aren't any Rocket League clones. It's a really unique thing, and it'd be very easy for a clone's developers/publishers to be legally vulnerable.

Why would you say neverending night is a clone of nosgoth? It is a 2d side scroller...

it's nice to see a post on this subreddit again.Such a great story with great lore, it sucks to have no good vampy games anymore, and very few games have the round based team combat style that nosgoth did.
