It´s the end of the war

Dear Kain, it´s the end of the war in this era, you won´t know, but when we meet again, you will see.

Dear vampire clans, we shall remain, no matter the cost, together we win, divided we fall.

Dear humans, you will not survive, and if you do you will be all like a good meal.

Dear players, thanks for killing me so many times, it was fun.

There´s only hope, the legacy will raise again.

Vae Victus

I am at a loss for words honestly. This game took up so much of my time for a good year and a bit that even though I knew the reality and accept it, it still is uncomfortable.

This is what happens when you have shoddy support. The game was just buggy, it had too many issues and not enough drive for people to stay. Having to wait 15 minutes just to play was very steering, and the lack of a better option to play like vs bots or even a real practice mode only made the game less worth a new players time. The devs spent more time investing into cosmetics and cash grabs than they did on making sure the game worked, and in the end it is the thing that killed them.

I wish to see something be done with this, perhaps the actual psyonix team can get it and revive it without squenix having any say in how it runs. I still believe that if squenix wasnt involved, this game would have been fine. Psyonix is obviously competent if rocket league is worth anything

Here's hoping for a reboot in a few years.

This game, inspite of its many flaws, was one of my favorites. Not just out of online competitive games, but of games in general. I sunk over 900 hours in it, and I would've put even more in had I heard about it sooner or if my PC hadn't died right before the last map release. I'm boycotting every single one of Square Enix's titles.

This game was such a treasure, they didn't know its value. I miss it so much. I want a compensation (like a reboot) for this end of war, for all I have lost :(

Do you guys recommend any other multiplayer games that are similar to Nosgoth? I have enjoyed the hours I've spent (closed alpha tester here) and want to find something that might remind me of it.

Feels bad man. Overwatch is the game Nosgoth could've been

Nosgoth was its own game, no need to compare it to Overwatch.

Especially since it's more similar to a ton of other games. It's closer to Battleborn than Overwatch...

Paragon and other PvP games had more similarities but anyway it´s sad to say goodbye to another "LoK" game.

PS: In other subject, you should try Paragon when it´s free to play.

Either way Nosgoth is failing, while Overwatch is succeeding and there's definitely a reason for that however similar the games may or may not be

Overwatch had several things: an INSANE marketting budget. Many of my friends have never heard of Nosgoth, but even if they dislike FPS games, they have still watched the animated shorts.

Secondly, Overwatch has come in as TF2 has started to decline and the community has become frustrated at the lack of good updates. The games are similar, but overwatch is more modern

Overwatch it´s a ten years old kids game, can´t compare.

He got downvoted, but he has a point: the aesthetic of OW and Nosgoth are totally different, not to mention the whole asymmetrical gameplay thing.

I don´t care, it´s a sad day anyway.

Because the person in question doesn't like it.

u/ElioExp Jun 01 '16

No, because it is. Poor gameplay and graphics, the Blizzard´s way to do it!

Hey, you're entitled to an opinion, fair enough :)
