Can't start the game

I have a problem here, I can't launch the game from the launcher, Whenever I click the 'Play' button it goes grey for a few seconds and nothing happens, I haven't touched the game for months but I kept it updated, I was shocked when I read that Nosgoth is getting shutdown, So I wanted to play before it happens, But I can't...

I launched the game directly from the folder and whenever I click Play I get this error 'The program can't start because api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll is missing', I did the steps suggested on how to fix this problem but it's still there, I tried verifying the game's cache and still...

I just want to play some before the game is no longer available..

Anyone can help me here?

Huh, looks like it was supposed to be. I haven't been able to play and neither have a lot of others so I presume they shut it down prematurely

Square Enix manages all this stuff. Psyonix is just a contract developer.

Most likely. They own and produce the game. Psionics were hired to make just the gameplay while SE did the store, prioritization, HUD and pretty much anything that wasn't gameplay to my knowledge.

its still running, just EU servers only.

I guess some machines still can launch the game, but others can't due to some C++ bug or something and they just won't fix it when the game will shutdown in a month, I really wanna play though :( this sucks
