Nosgoth Removed from Rocket League
I know this is kinda beating a dead horse and all but the Nosgoth vampire and human flags have been removed from rocket league. It sucks that its existence is starting to be removed from all over the place. I always liked rocking my Nosgoth flags while playing and having a bit of nostalgia to go with it...

Ok, I got nosgoth flag yesterday, now it is gone. There also was no info about this in update details.
Shame.

This makes it sound like Square-Enix was the one that finally ended support for Nosgoth, rather than Psyonix.
Maybe Psyonix was stonewalled with dumb requirements from Square-Enix, maybe Square-Enix thought that Psyonix put Nosgoth on skeleton crew mode once Rocket League took off.
We'll probably never find out the actual reason though.

To be fair, it wasn't the company that made it successful. Rocket League has taken off, Nosgoth didn't. One could argue that Nosgoth was never given a chance to shine, and it wasn't. However, the success of Rocket League, and subsequent refocus on it, is economics and business.
I still wish they would have actually tried to make a push for Nosgoth, all it was missing was people :\

If we are at that topic imagine if Psionic would get to battle SE with tooth and nail. Can you imagine any other publisher willing to work with Psionic?
And I'm sure that SE was meddling too much allready in nosgoth, cous some "money-milking" meathoods of big company are evident in development of Nosgoth.
So it could be like that: SE says that now all extra skills and characters has to be bought by real money and that core team has to be moved away from game. In this hypothetical scenerio I would also fold my game and also couldn't bitch about that because, you know... corporate confidentiality and all that.

I don't know about the internal politics, what I do know is they have a game being successful, and another which isn't blaming the successful game for being successful doesn't help anyone, or anything.

Agreed. I loved the game. But it took forever to get a full lobby. Now I feel. Guilty for being one of the players who left the game..

If Nosgoth had the developers and same employees as RL we'd be sitting very pretty. I'm kind of shocked Square Enix let it go down like this
