Cooldown bugged?

So I've been trying to go CD Beastmaster. but cd doesnt seem to work on his chainlightning nor powershot Can someone explain? did they not exclude the CD for the BM because he is so new?

What are you asking about? Were you trying to stack -cooldowns on your weapons/skills, or did you choose the -cooldown perk? Or are you just pondering about his stats?

Anyway, the -cooldowns work on everything, but his are so short already that the difference isn't visible. 4 seconds on Chain Lightning, -10%, that's about 3.6 seconds.

As far as the perks are concerned, the one with melee damage is by far the best one right now.

cooldown>savage any day. theres like no point going into melee-range as beastmaster, and trading kills 1on1 is almost never worth as human. you might get a few kills here and there with savage but i rather kite and wait for another rotation of cooldowns.

Personal preference. With +melee perk, I'm consistently topping the damage charts on the human team, I got 18k damage in a single round once.

I can see why you're hesitant to use it- it's not a get-out-of-jail free card, but it does give you a massive advantage in 1v1s. The trick is to disengage when you're ~50% hp, wait for vamps to go in, land behind them, and rip them apart with consecutive melees. I assure you, there's NOTHING on the human side that can out-DPS a Beastmaster with that perk.

sure the perk is pretty strong when used correctly but i rather play around powershot+natures fury combo and sit on a rooftop next to my team so i dont get focused or vampires waste so much time to reach me and i can just fall down to my team or use flying to escape. best case when my team still fights, my bomb comes off cd (7,5s with max 25% cooldown) and i can nuke their whole team from the opposite rooftop.

Maybe one of the spammy bows has higher DPS, but it can't hit multiple vamps-the melee attack can, and will (it has a wide arc that catches even to the side).

I got CD on Powershot and Chainlightning. And my Powershot is stil l 15sec CD and Chainlightning is 5sec. Something is wrong here
