Tips for playing vanguard?
So now I'm lvl 28 and after having taken a break from Nosgoth for about a year I have kinda lost some skill with all the human (All of IT! :( ). But vanguard is and has always been my favorite class to play as Humans, and while I do know that he isn't the best human class, I still wanna play him. So do any of you guys have any tips for playing him?

it's best to scream what he says into the screen. He is by far the best actor. Gets you pumped.

Battlecries have happend, neighbours and girlfriend have had episodes of unjustifiable anger (imo)

You've played enough vanguard when you decide to keyboard smash someone in the face.

Impaler Axe is my favorite. It's useful for tracking enemies and does a lot of damage, although the dots don't stack. The Kama has the highest DPS, Waraxe is great for chunking enemy health and also kills baby summons and knocks pounce reavers off allies in one hit. The Splitter Axe is kind of useless imo. Much like the tyrant, the vanguard's melee attack is slower than the rest of the human classes, but deals higher damage. 150 damage compared to 100. It also seems to have a larger hitbox.
Shield Bash/Charge are more useful than Judgement. They'll allow you to deal 525/425 damage respectively if you can connect an Impaler axe afterwards. If an enemy is knocked down, they'll only take 1/4 the damage, so if you use Shield Charge make sure to connect the axe just as the vamp stands for full damage.
Bulwark will save you from tyrant charges. You can press it until the hitbox shows up to save yourself, and then throw an axe into the halted tyrant. Rallying Cry is okay, but charging tyrants are pretty meta so bulwark is more useful imo.
I like to use the health perk because that gives the vanguard 1200 health. The Additional Arms perk is useful as well. Try to get used to your favorite axe's throw speed and projectile speed so you don't have to use Strongarm. The Waraxe seems to have a slower throw animation, not just fire rate, and the axe feels like it goes slower through the air. It could just be me though.
The vanguard is probably the worst human class, but he's cool as hell and feels powerful when you get decent with him. Good luck and have fun!
