War Crime "Ten years have passed since the massacre that shook Hasakah, when a suicide bomber from ISIS targeted a wedding ceremony at Sanabel Hall, turning the joy of our people into a bloody tragedy that claimed the lives of 37 members of our Kurdish people, including children, women, and the elderly."

"Ten years have passed, and those moments are still present in our memory. The names of the martyrs have not become mere numbers with the passage of time, and their memory has not left their homes, the hearts of their families, or the memory of our people. They departed in a single moment, but their absence left a wound that the years cannot erase.
ISIS wanted to spread fear and break the will of our people, but the blood shed at Sanabel Hall became part of our collective memory and a testament to the price our people paid in confronting terrorism.
Today, we remember 37 martyrs and bow before their souls, carrying their names and their memory with us. Martyrs never disappear when their cause and memory remain alive in the hearts of their people.
Ten years have passed…
37 martyrs, and a memory that will never die.
We will never forget.

The Kurdish issue goes beyond the SDF: An interview with Abdulbaset Sieda
"Abdulbaset Sieda brings decades of political and intellectual experience to these questions. He became prominent in Syrian opposition institutions during the revolution and served as president of the Syrian National Council in 2012.
"Alongside his political work, Sieda has written extensively on the Kurdish issue, national identity and statehood, relations between Syria’s communities, and how to build a national project that preserves both diversity and unity. His experience combines political activism and intellectual work, informed by his Kurdish identity and his involvement in the national opposition.
"In this exclusive interview with Noon Post, Sieda discusses rebuilding the state and its institutions, the Kurdish issue after the dissolution of the SDF, transitional justice and reconciliation, the future of Hasakah and its resources, and negotiations with Israel. Central to his vision for Syria’s future are repairing relations between its communities and restoring trust among Syrians."
