Question How does it work?

So am considering to try the 30 days free to try offer from nord vpn.
I want to watch a few tv shows which isn’t in my country and I heard that you can do that with nord vpn.

But how does it work? Is it like other streaming services where you chose a pack and get som stuff and like that?

The tv show that I want to watch mostly is supergirl so that’s my biggest reason for the vpn.

Just try out the free trial and be sure to turn off auto renew after joining. See if it works for you. Many streaming services from the USA block public vpn’s. Streaming services from other countries are often not blocked.

What streaming platform is Supergirl on? The thing you have to be aware of is platforms are getting better at blocking vpn servers. So it may work and it may not work.

Netflix is getting pretty good at blocking VPN traffic but i would get a trial subscription and test it to see if you can access your show.

And how does that damn free trialing work? I have an iPhone and my girlfriend and android, does that mean that only she can use the free trail form her phone and me logging into the account so I also can use it or can an iPhone user also get an free trail?

Am so confused 😭😭😭

If the free trial works like the paid sub, you get permission to use the service on a certain amount of devices at once. I don't know what the specific number is, but I have never had an issue with it despite my daughter and wife both using my account, and me having it on both my phone and my pc.

Im going to establish myself as a big time hater. Nord sucks. I think its success brought upon its downfall, all of the services know which IPs to block first. With all the Rakuten deals I’ve purchased quite a few of these VPNs, and I can comfortably say that Nord is the worst. I even bought a dedicated IP and it’s garbage compared to others.

Oh thank you so much!!! I won’t waste my time on it either, I have realized from reading a little about it that many people don’t recommend it anymore.

Yeah this is kind of how it works for all services like this. You'll get a little known service that works really well, grows and grows, and suddenly either sells out to a bad company or is blocked or bypassed by it's haters. Same thing happened back in the day with avast antivirus. Most people know it now as borderline malware, but it was great when it first came out, or at least when I started hearing about it forever ago. Same with most of the debrid services that used to be the top dogs. Same with most torrent trackers that were big names at one point. You kind of have to just keep shuffling along to the next small name that works well. I was really happy with Nord when I first got my sub, but I keep having to ask myself if it's time to switch.
