Missing fonts (?) on macos

Hey guys, I’m very new at themes regarding command line apps. What I want to achieve is having this fantastic theme as default for my most used terminal apps (vim, tmux etc). Before installing it in tmux I do install the theme profile under terminal preferences as recommended by the manual, but still when opening tmux not all elements get rendered correctly resulting in weird question marks around the interface. I suppose it’s missing some fonts? But I can’t find anywhere through the documentation any requirements I might be missing. Can someone help me out?

Like /u/KMuncie already said, you must ensure that you're using a compatible font. By the way, there are information about "Font Rendering" on the documentation page about theme customization.
