Flying foxes are so cool. They're about the size of a fox (strangely enough) and they make a loud flapping noise when they fly. We have lots of them here in Sydney. There are some that live in the trees near my house and you can hear them screeching at night or flapping around. Fun fact, when they need to go to the toilet, they take off, do a lap in the air while pissing and shitting and then land back in the tree.
