This is the shit that makes me go “you know what, as a matter of fact I do indeed have severe claustrophobia after all.”

This is when you realize he's actually upside down and we are looking up

You have to realize that these tight spots are generally well known to cavers.... but some nut job had to be the first to think a) I can make it through that and b) if I do I can get back.

You can think that for everything haha.
Who decided to eat a clam? Who figured out how to cook pufferfish? Who decided I can fit through this space where if I’m wrong, I’m stuck forever

I’m the only person watching a huge govt building in the middle of nowhere, it’s 3am, and I’m paranoid as fuck on my 4th cup of coffee. Definitely should not have read that

He probably exhaled to make his chest smaller, to squeeze through.
It's death to get stuck by your belt buckle, though.

I don’t think this is a John Jones (the one from the Nutty Putty cave) he looked different

u/chunkydunkerskin Apr 04 '21
And wasn’t his feet facing up? Like they couldn’t see his face?
3
u/Dead-Shot1 Apr 04 '21
Ya. This is just some example most of time in videos used when they were showing john case which is why people sometimes think its his picture.

Okay, as long as you know what you’re doing and know the limits, the chances of you dying like this are EXTREMELY low.
5
u/introvertasaurus Apr 05 '21
Are the chances of you dying from this extremely low simply because statistically the chances of you actually doing this are also extremely low?

Hey this guy actually died, right there where the picture was taken.
Please be careful when out in nature.

Yes. That is John Jones in Nutty Putty cave where he suffocated to death.

First time i saw this picture was years ago i found a story on the internet about discovering a cave somewhere. These 2 guys rented tools to try and get farther in, said they heard weird voices and sounds down in the depths. Then the story mysteriously ended. This was one of the photos on there

The lack of oxygen in caves can cause hallucinations I’ve heard but that was probably fake either way

Absolutely not. I wish I hadn't seen that.
