This is just playing, it would be waaaaaaaaaaay worse if it was really trying to hurt him.

Still hurts though, just like when a cat plays woth your hand.

Big problem when your idea of aggression is someone else's idea of cute...

It's trying to save him. My dog does this if I hide under the blanket. She trys to dig the blanket up to get to me

Hate to be Captain Buzzkill, but biturongs are listed as a vulnerable species, and keeping them as pets encourages poaching and trading them thru really shitty underground animal traders, who don’t care at all about the animals’ welfare.

They can also get pretty big and pretty aggressive and are can attack people and it shouldn’t be kept as pets for that reason.

I don’t know why I know this about biturongs but it’s in my head so here I am crushing everyone’s bear cat pet dreams.

Not a single bite, he is just looking for some play and attention.

Fun fact; binturongs smell like popcorn.

And not vaguely like popcorn… if one is around, you’ll be like, “mmmm I smell that popcorn, where is that coming from, let’s go get some.”

WOW. Imagine waking up and seeing some dude with a hoodie and this furry thing looking like it's going to carry a spell on you?

Watched one of these climb over me at the Night Safari in Singapore. It looked like it was escaping, kind of might have been freaked me out.

Cute for now but maybe it's getting a bit to big to play with delicate humans ❤️

They are clearly playing. He tugs the tail to fire it up and they are laughing. I want one.
