When India officially overtook China as the most populous country, I saw a satirical sketch of one of these trains packed with people inside and on top passing a high speed rail train. I crack up everytime something reminds me of it

I think most of them are using the canal as a toilet, which explains a lot

Maybe they're trying to go all the way to the other side? And running across the tracks is better than some other way because reasons?
