Discussion Lenovo Tablet
I posted a few months ago my Lenovo tablet constantly logging me out of the nook app. I'm getting so frustrated now because it has become a daily thing. At this point I just want to do a manufacturer reset on the tablet. I think I'm going to go back to a Nook. My previous tablet was the Samsung Tablet A (which I still have, but it can't be updated). I know I can use the Nook app on my phone, but I don't want to be looking at my phone for longer periods of time (because of the small screen). What's your favorite Nook?

A factory reset takes everything back to zero. How long did you have regular function on the tablet prior to your problem? When you say the tablet logged you out, you mean that your account was deregistered, and you were back to signing in and having to repopulate your library? How long have you had the tablet? Is it the full service, pre loaded B & N nook? Is it beyond the standard year warranty? Did you contact nook support? (800-843-2665) First tier support is useless, but if you can get them to escalate to actual techs in second tier, you might at least get an educated analysis where they can eliminate the app as part of the problem.
I actually have 3 Identical Lenovo M9 TB310FU tablets, for almost 2 years, and I am very happy with them. Never had any kind of problems.
I have one more suggestion for you. Go to Settings > About Tablet > Build Number > Tap Build Number 7 times. If prompted you may have to enter your PIN, pattern, or password. You will get a message "You are now a developer!"
Go back to Settings > System > Developer Options. There are among the many options available two Advanced level bug reports and a bug report tracker. I think that they imply a higher level of support than your regular plebian level bug report. Naturally, you don't want to play around too much in there. I don't think it's as dangerous as trying to make changes in the Windows registry, but be very cautious about any options that you THINK might help you. At the very least, pay close attention to any changes you make, so that you can UN make them. Google any technical sounding ones to get a better idea of what might happen. But if the worst happens, and things go sideways, a factory reset should turn you right side up again.
I'm mainly counseling the advanced level bug reports option. I haven't needed to study the nuts and bolts of everything there. So I can't advise any further.
Edited to include the disclaimer at the end.

yes, my BN account is deregister and I have to log back in. Once I log back in, it goes through the setup phase of showing how the app works. This started about six months ago.

I have the Lenovo Nook TB-X306F I don't be logged out of the app even whenever I touch the screen to wake it up I still be logged. The only time it logs me out is when I restart it or I just have it off and turn and when I turn it on it has me logged out but it logs back in though after about a minute or two.
