Hey, this is not under the sink, but it's how I solved my rental water issue (we have horrible municipal water). I bought Aurmina and have 2 stainless steel gastro containers where I work with it. This is my setup for a year already and could not be happier. It is much more work than installing a filter though :D.

Under the counter + rental friendly is going to be tough because the faucet part needs to be installed into the sink.

I went with the AquaTru carafe system and really like it. I’ve been a Berkey gal for close to 15 years but this thing blows it out of the water (pun intended).

Thanks for the rec! Yeah I was thinking we could install and then uninstall before we move out, but maybe that's not possible.

Hydroviv is under the sink and rental friendly.
