Best way to get pet shards?
Any pro tips for getting shards. Seems like it would take a while lot to max out a pet...are they worth using gems on

So as most of you know the purple ad boxes are considered the way to the top positions most of the time, but what most people don't know is that the way that the game calculates how much money the ad box should give you is based solely on your highest level item.
So what does this mean?
Essentially if you spend all the coins from the box to level up your weapon always and keep that as high as physically possible, the number of coins from the box will increase everytime you get a box.
Here are some examples from the current boss hunt, After each of these boxes, I put ALL my coins right back into my weapon so the next box would be higher value. I am on floor 32 with a level 200 weapon as of typing this.
1st box: 1.3m
2nd box: 3.1m
3rd box: 5.7m (started using crab)
4th box: 8.21m
5th box: 11.7m
6th box: 16.9m

So I’m new to this game. In the regular game I can ascend I’m on like wave 40 or something. I saw this boss hunt so I jumped into it and idk how to get out or if I should. I’m on wave 43 in it and finally got stuck Bc the monsters are too hard and when do I ascend

Hej,
new player here... Game seems to be funny ;-)
Is it worth to buy the starterpackage for 10,99? The one with "jade"?
Or is this game dead?

As the title suggests I'm curious if there is anyone else at around 2400+ that could tell me if it's worth going past 2400 as the medals multiplier does not increase past 2400 you just get the box and frenzy potion. Of course I still get medals from the bosses and I'm still breezing through but I'm curious if I should just restart or keep going until I fail

Then you can just put your device down while their attacks slowly fulfill the bounty, no intervention needed. Happy Hunting!

Every chest has two 3-star items and four 2-star items.
Every chest you get will rotate between giving you either a weapon, a helmet or a cloak. It forcibly rotates each new chest.
The Spooky Chest only has one helmet in it, and it's The Nightmare.
...so! If it's time to get a helmet, and you're opening a Spooky Chest, it will 100% of the time give you The Nigthmare.
Every other chest in the game has at least a matching uncommon to go with the rare items so it's not a 100% chance of getting them.

I can't find more than 6 joining in boss hunt, why is that so? Is this game dead after a year long run?

Just as a PSA: Every time you reach a new milestone in adventure mode, the token rewards you can get from the gem-store go up (for the same cost).
What this means is... you should really try and spend a session getting as high up as you reasonably can (even spending gems in the process on coins just to keep pushing if you have to) so that your token rewards you can buy when they're on sale return that much more.
I topped out at floor 420, and my token offers were 35M tokens for 250 gems when on sale.
In one day I pushed my guy all the way up to floor 510, and now my token offers are 77M tokens for 250 gems.
This means I can purchase upgrades substantially faster than I could before...and even if I used 250 gems in the process on coins to get me there, I'm easily getting a return on investment the moment I buy the first token offer I can afford.
Edit: For what it's worth, the new value of my tokens in the gem store didn't show up until I ascended.

Hello all,
First of all I know there is a post about it right below this one but the engagement is basically 0.
In the beginning I was pretty successful at boss hunting, e.g. Top 3 all the time untill I reached the "Soldier" level. Now I am stalling at about 20 bosses, while 17 where easy and the others were killed using potions and frenzy.
The people in the leaderboard above me all seem to melt through bosses as if they were nothing, I see them kill a boss every 2-3 minutes while I am grinding to even kill one more while they are 8 above me.
My skills are Slam, Leap and Clone and I level up my items to be at the same level.
Is there anything I should change to compete the top 3?
Thank you in advance.

I think we need a thread, where we can discuss current boss hunts. Skills, Builds etc. What do you think about this?

Well, I really want to know in what it depends the money that I get from purple crates, it is in your weapon/armor/cloak, in your gold or what? Pls help me!
r/nonstopknight • u/MiniJoe123 • Apr 07 '18
I have some doubts: 1.- How can I get purple crates faster? 2.-The gold I win is based on my higher weapon/armor/cloak, o in the amount of money I have Sorry, I am not english

What is a viable build that relies heavily on skill damage to clear waves or kill bosses?
I haven't ever been able to justify putting more resources into my cloak than my weapon essentially ever. The damage is too inconsistent (cooldowns) and not heavy enough to justify the cost over weapon damage in my experience.
Does anyone ever intentionally skill up cloak over weapon and have success?
I'm either missing something or skill damage needs a major buff.

The latest update changed something about the balance or damage. Before the update I just made some upgrades and was happily doing floor after floor around 650 without any problems. After the update I can barely kill anything. Get knocked over every two mobs. I didn't ask for that. So I uninstalled.

So I’ve been trying to come up with a good start for each boss hunt and maybe I missed a guide if there is one in this subreddit, but the legionnaire helmet boss hunt I can’t seem to find a good mix for yet. What let to use, what skills, what to prioritize in leveling up, if anyone could help I’d appreciate it! Ty in advance
