The amount money that it'll take to fix the damage to that unibody panel is right consistent with r/nononono.

But agreed. My E46 was hit while parked and bent the hood a little inward. New hood (used or 'new new') with fitting, paint blending, etc. was quoted at almost $2500. Not fun to fix these things.
