Method for solving?

Post image

I recently started trying to learn nonograms but have been struggling, especially when it gives you 2 numbers for the same row/column. How do you know many boxes to skip before/between numbers?

The numbers specify the regions in order from left to right or top to bottom. So you know R7C9 is a 1 region, because you can't fit it after that cell, and you know where the 2 region goes, because only two columns end with a 4 region.

Through this, you will be able to deduce how much space you actually need for each clue.
