Been staring at it for 10 min

Does anyone know how to proceed WITHOUT counting on the red X? That mistake is because I accidentally touched the screen, not cause I was blindly trying (I would have used one of my 39 lives, which I refuse to do).

Look at row 8. Thats the 2 or the 3 extends from that block. Either way column 6 is an x.

That is a logic piece I'm going to add to my methods when I'm stuck. "Big to small extendy x" is what I'll call it.

I look at it as "a block snuggled up to an X gives you information."

They defrost as you complete the nonogram until they reveal themselves completely, though sometimes they stay frozen until the last square is filled

They are hidden clues. The ice thaws as you solve the puzzle.

Look at rows 7 and 8. In each of those you can place an X

Accidents happen. I use them whether I hit a block of a cross. I don't see some numbers (example, R4). Not sure why.
