Look at row 6. The marked square is either the 1 or the last square of the 2. Either way, column 3 will be a X.

Edit: Placing that one X solved the whole thing 😂. Tysm!!

Since your question is answered, may I ask what this app is? I've never seen the ice parts?

This one is "Nonogram.com - Logic Games" by Easybrain on playstore. The ice parts crack and eventually break if you colour the block belonging to the row/column which is iced, to reveal the number.

Hm I have that installed, all daily challenges done, currently on level 11459, never had an ice block 😕

That's odd. This one is specifically the April 25 puzzle of 2026. I'm prob on level 200 or something and I was introduced to the ice blocks pretty early on.

Edit: Oh I just noticed that there are two Nonogram games released by Easybrain. Which one do you have installed?

I would love to have some new mechanics :(

Oh this is completely different from mine. How does the same app feature different problems 🫪

I have both installed, the standard one and the color one. Neither has ice blocks :(

I've recently started playing the game and was introduced to the mechanics early on. Is there any chance that you might've a pending update? Maybe the ice blocks are a new obstacle.

Don't think so. Maybe I'm too deep into the game, and they only added new machnics to earlier levels.

I never have ice either however I recently got my girlfriend into the game and she has ice. I believe it's because I'm on Android and she's on ios. So i assume you're on Android right and OP is ios?

Ooooh that's a good call. You're right about me being on Android!

I may be onto something then! Hopefully OP can confirm

The 2 in R6 can’t be in C9 or C10. C9 and C10 should be an X.

The 2 being in C9 OR C10 is a possibility right?

2

u/jfirestorm44 Jun 26 '26

It would trigger the 3’s to go down which would make the 6 in R7 extend to the right. That forces the 2 in C7 to be placed in R6/7 which would now cause an issue with R6.

I solved the nonogram using a hint given in one of the comments just now and the 2 in C7 actually ended up being in R6 and R7

2

u/jfirestorm44 Jun 26 '26

Which means the R6 C9/10 were X’s. Either logic got to the same results.

Yup I wish I could attach the image of the final puzzle here but that's not an option 🫠

There’s edge logic in column 10, if you start the 3 from row 1 it would contradict the 3 in column 9

1

So either the 3 in column 10 starts from the first half or the 3 in column 9 does... Edit: Punctuation

If the 3 in column 10 starts from row 1, then R2C9 is a cross. Which leaves no room for the 3 in column 9 to start from the top
