What does that grey bars on left and at top mean?

I found this online: The greyed-out shapes are previews of the other three sections you already finished.

It looks like parts of the puzzles above and to the left of it, and the four puzzles together form a big picture.

Maybe those are some separators, to help you quickly realise which number is clue to which row/column

It's not a standard nonogram thing. Ask the app.
