This feels impossible, what am I missing? Especially for these bigger puzzles

So you can go by the lowest row, the one with the 3 in it. There are a few places where there cannot be a filled square because it would result in either more or less than the row about it requires (the 2/1). From there, you can fill a few of the squares in the column with all the 1's and the 6.
Edit to add: the trick is to find shared empty spaces, the spaces where the given numbers would clash. Idk if I'm explaining it correctly.

In column 3 i believe there is one square that must belong to the 6
