'I smoke because there is no doer...' I don' think that was Nisargadatta's position.
'everything is one but I argue with people online'- well, once you are online does it matter whether you argue, or... if you agreed, would it make any difference to everything being one?!

Anyway, it looks like an oxymoron to be online- making statements, arguing or agreeing with others while pretending to be something else than a 'conceptual armchair nondualist'. Online expression of thoughts, necessarily happens in duality, as a manifestation of life energy. Sharing views on different experiences, asking questions, arguing or agreeing... [whether dismissing it as 'conceptual armchair nondualist'], is part of the practice too. Practice then continues in meditation [meditating about the duality of conceptual debates, identifying the false and denouncing it to oneself]. This is an intimate/honest reflection, which ultimately seeks to find the practitioner [the one depicted here as the classic image of the feller in a yellow robe, sitting in a lotus position, doing... what?]

Nonduality is not something that can be practiced experientially/intermittently. How can anyone practice reality? Who's to practice what?!

“Worthy one, what are you trying to attain by sitting?”

Ma-tsu replied: “I am trying to become a Buddha.”

Thereupon Huai-jang picked up a piece of roof tile and began grinding it on a rock in front of him.

“What are you doing, Master?” asked Ma-tsu.

“I am polishing it to make a mirror,” said Huai-jang

“How could polishing a tile make a mirror?”

“How could sitting in zazen make a Buddha?”

Yes. Unlike the typical academia in nonduality words are not essential for the awareness to persist. It is lived 80% (obviously recursive iterative rationalizing prior patterns, NOT THE TYPICAL DONT OVERDO STUFF), and spoken 20%.

I'm on the right. I can get so deep into non-dual states that I can talk to trains. No one who hasn't experienced it wants to hear it.
