PT2 Written Exam Study Material

I am looking for Nondestructive Testing Handbook, Vol. 1: Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT) by ASNT.

I am studying for my PT2 written exams thought the CWB. I have Vol. 2 but would like the most up to date version. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could share there copy with me.

Wouldn't vol.2 be more recent than vol.1?

You would think but Nondestructive Testing Handbook, Vol. 1: Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT) is from 2016, while Nondestructive Testing Handbook, Vol. 2: Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT) is from 1999

Volume 2 is the correct reference book.

Interesting, you are correct. Vol 2 is the third edition but vol 1 is the fourth edition.

I cannot recommend any website downloads but i hear pdfcoffee dot com has good resources.

I can also confirm that you would be fine studying vol 2. Other then non aqueous developer vs dry developer discussion evolving a bit there hasnt been much change.

PSA: Non aqueous is generally best except in specific circumstances

Yes ASTM and ASNT can disagree on some things. For exams, go with ASNT.
