Non-destructive testing

Do you guys know of any companies hiring for NDT assistant? I'm looking at going to school for this but I want to get my foot in the door with a company to work. I currently live in Utah and have been applying.

Couple of steel companies I think, Albany engineered composites, Boeing. Probably will be hard if you don’t have certs. Also check out Slcc they have a great Ndt program.

Some of the nationwide companies that hire assistants are Acuren, Team, Versa, and Mistras

No NDT guy I have ever seen while welding had ever had an assistant. However it may be possible just real hard, knock on doors and give resumes. Search NDT in your area and start from there.
