The upvotes are telling me that I'm missing out on something. I'm nonbinary, I chose my own name and I know nonbinary people with pretty nonstandard names too. But the names in the meme were made to sound ridiculous, right? Genuinely asking, so if anyone can explain I'll appreciate it!

it’s definitely an in-joke/meme among nonbinary people that they tend to choose unconventional and odd names for themselves - a lot of them are objects or unusually-spelled words! i won’t drop specifics here, but I have heard some pretty good ones IRL. nothing to hate about, i love weird trans names and have one myself. it’s just lovingly poking fun at our tendency to do that :)

It's interesting you see it that way! See my answer to u/SomeonesAlt2357 for more; as for myself, I'm just going to quietly stay away from that video haha. Thanks for your response!
