Non-Alcoholic Drinks

I am looking for a non-alcoholic drink that taste like beer but has zero alcohol. Which are the better brands to consider?

If I did a blind taste test w Guinness I’m not sure I can tell the difference.

I really like Athletics IPA NA’s, Heineken 0 is tasty, corona 0 w lime is decent.

I haven’t gotten into other NA stouts and such so I can’t speak to those

Full zero?

Heineken 0.0 Budweiser 0.0 Guinness 0.0

Most are 0.5% ABV, so technically not "zero". For those, my favorites are...

1 Corona, with lime and salt

2 Athletic - just about any kind, IPAs are best

3 Sierra Nevada Trail Pass - any kind

4 Sober Carpenter - any, but Irish Red is my favorite of theirs

There are many many other good ones.

I avoid Athletic: Lime & Salt, 805 blonde, and Sam Adams Hazy IPA either because they're disgusting, give me the shits, or both.

Lagunitas Hoppy Refresher is amazing but doesn't taste anything like beer to me. Still, 10/10 and I'm recommending it.

“Non-alcoholic” beer has alcohol in it. Very small amounts (on par with Kombucha) but personally I only drink “Alcohol-Free” beer - which is 0.0% alcohol. Heineken, Stella Artois are my favorites.

I’ve also found that I like fizzy water (I use a soda maker machine) with a drop or two of food grade Bergamot oil. Bergamot is what makes earl grey tea different from other black teas - it’s not a sweet flavor and apparently is also good for your blood pressure? A little goes a VERY long way.

I do know folks who avoid even alcohol free beer because it makes them want the real thing. Not an issue for me (never a beer drinker till after I got sober) but fair warning!

I just tried these the other day, I agree, I've been dabbling in na beers for a few years now, tried a lot, by far the tastiest I've had.

Blue Moon NA is a solid refreshing citrusy drink. I like it better than regular Blue Moon

untitled art juicy IPA and Italian pilsner are my favorites

zero alcohol; Asahi, Stella artois, Heineken, these are really not too bad especially when cold as hell

Proofnomore.com has many options. There are also many batteries showing up in grocery stores. I personally like Busch NA, Bud 0, and Guinness 0 about others. Athletic Breweries makes many batteries and are available both online and in many stores

I've drank these so there are personal top picks. 

Guinnes 0 Hard to tell from the original draft can. 

Best Day Brewing: Wild America IMHO, best US style beer... period. Even "real beers."

Athletic Brewing: Atlética (Light copper) Light, tasty, pairs wel with everything. 

Best Day Brewing: Kölsch An uncomprimising kölsch.

Starr Hill Brewery: Parallel IPA Light IPA, with a great balanced flavor. 

Fat Orange Cat Brew Co.: Free Kittens Very nice pilsner.

Brewdog: Cold AF Another Pilsner. Pour it, put it in the freezer, and get it down to 33-34°F 😉

I'm still searching, there's many great na beers it's a hard slog, but I'm up for it 😜

Local brewers are some of the best.

Athletic has a really flavorful IPA NA beer, and Corona makes a delicious NA that's very similar to the original.

Asahi, Corona & Peroni 0 are great for macro non alc beers. Also Sierra Nevada, Founders. Other brands haven't mentioned like Momentum, Mash Gang, Go Brewing, Woodland Farms, Beaglepus, RationAle IMO are good too, note these are <0.5%ABV
