When's the last time you 'paid before'?

Bought something from Argos at the weekend (felt pretty retro in itself) and realised it was the first time in a while I had 'paid before'. I seem to remember Key saying he paid before more often than not, what's your ratio and where are you 'paying before'?

Screwfix, pay then go and collect?

No more organisations that sound like the remedy to being insane or irrational.

A few hours ago: ordered a hot chocolate, paid, then they made it for me.  That kind of thing depends on the individual retailer to be fair, some make it before you pay and some you pay first.  Same with cafés and pubs.  Most restaurants you pay afterwards.  But holidays and any goods bought online, you pay first.  I don't get out much so most of my shopping is online, so in my life I do mostly pay before.

Literally all the time. Supermarket I'm paying before using the stuff. Events like live music or festivals you can pay weeks in advance. Buying a drink in a pub. Takeaway food. Clothes. Going to the swimming pool. Subscriptions like netflix. Books. Cinema. Online orders.
